We are a group of people who are concious of how many other people in the world have to live on a daily basis. So we decided to see what it was like for our selves, sure you can read about it in a book or see it on the telly, but it just was working for us. so here we are, living in poverty for a week.

The idea behind the week is to raise awareness within ourselves about poverty in 2008,poverty which affects people on a local,national and international scale.Each of us will keep a daily diary to record our thoughts about the experience and hopefully,we will include some of the diary accounts in the book we are writing about the first Millenium Development Goal-the Eradication of Poverty.
